Understanding Peptide Purity

Peptide purity refers to the percentage of the target compound relative to all other detectable substances in a sample, as measured by HPLC. A purity of 99.0% means that 99.0% of the measured sample is the intended compound, with 1.0% consisting of impurities, degradation products, or other substances.

Apex Molecular Labs applies a ≥98% Verified Purity standard for all compounds. This standard is measured by reversed-phase HPLC at 214nm. Lots falling below this standard are rejected and not released to inventory.

Purity percentage alone does not confirm compound identity — that requires mass spectrometry confirmation. A complete COA includes both purity (HPLC) and identity (MS) data.
